Kate Campbell | Piano Lessons, Beginning to Advanced Levels

Kate Campbell has been Adjunct Professor of Music at the University of San Francisco, and most recently was on the Piano and Music Theory Faculty at Westminster Conservatory of Music in Princeton, NJ. She has also been on the piano faculty at Crowden Center for Music in the Community and San Francisco Community Music Center, and is an active member of the California Association of Professional Music Teachers. She works to help each student find their unique voice in music, based on their own interests, inspiration, and personality. Each lesson contains practice strategies and technical exercises in order to form a more free and capable musician. Her students’ recent accomplishments include high placement in concerto competitions, highest marks in statewide juries and festivals, achieving honors in the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music exams, and participation in community-oriented fundraising concerts.

Kate Campbell performs frequently as a soloist and chamber musician specializing in 20th and 21st century music. She has worked closely with Pulitzer Prize winners Steve Reich, David Lang, and Caroline Shaw. She is the pianist for the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, Redshift Ensemble (currently in residence at California State University East Bay) and Voci Women’s Vocal Ensemble in Berkeley, CA.
