Baldwin Hamilton Studio Upright
The Baldwin Piano & Organ Co. established in 1862 is one of Americas most famous piano manufacturers. Known for their top quality instruments, the company was already world famous by the turn of the 20th century. Baldwin was bought out by Gibson in 2001 and the company proceeded to cut manufacturing down in the USA plant in favor of cheaper labor with a Chinese factory. This is one of the last great American made Baldwins that left the USA factory in 2007 before it closed it’s doors.
This Baldwin studio upright piano has a very clear and brilliant tone, signature to American made pianos by Baldwin and Steinway. This will make a great candidate for a beginner, intermediate or professional player. Being that the piano was made before Gibson purchased the factory, this piano is still a standing memory of Baldwin as it was and a fun piano to play.
