Behr Brothers Upright
This is a large sounding studio upright. Like the Baldwin Hamilton series, the Chickering studio uprights, and the Wurlitzer studio uprights this is a real “work horse” instrument. Meaning they can take a lot of use and even a little abuse and keep on playing. And because this piano hasn’t been refinished, it won’t cost nearly as much as some of the other studio uprights that we currently have. This piano would be a great starter or intermediate piano. It is cheap, affordable, easy to maintain and will satisfy the needs of most beginning to intermediate pianists. It doesn’t take up much space in the home and certainly does not stick out. Having a serviced, real piano action to play on in the beginning of a pianists career teaches him/her how to play correctly and without forming “bad habits” in their technique. This piano will cost less than any quality, entry level keyboard, and will not lose value like a keyboard will. As long as a piano is kept serviced it’ll hold it’s value for years to come.
