Knabe upright in Mahogany

Founded in 1839, the Wm. Knabe & Co. made excellent quality instruments. Knabe utilized top quality woods and construction to give their pianos a rich, clear tone.  Knabe pianos were made in Baltimore, MD until about 1932. Throughout the last century Knabe has been a part of well regarded companies such as the American Piano Company, Aeolian Corporation, and Mason Hamlin.   Today,  Knabe is produced by the Samick Corporation who continues the tradition of creating beautiful pianos using premier materials.  Knabe pianos are unique in that each is a instrument that is handmade in limited production and not mass produced.

This is a beautiful Mahogany finish piano built with high quality workmanship and material which makes it a sturdy quality upright. This piano would be a great addition to a music loving home.
