Thuy Nga Nguyen studied at the Conservatory of Music in Saigon, Vietnam for 16 years.

She graduated with a music degree with piano specialization.

She was also a keyboard instructor under the Yamaha Corporation from Japan from 1997 to 2000.

​She is currently the chairperson of the National Guild of Piano Teachers in San Jose, CA, a member of the American College of Musicians, and Director of VinPer Music.
