This Steinway Model D has been restored with all Steinway parts and Steinway hammers. The restoration includes the entire action, the back action(damper underlever system) refinishing of the soundboard and restringing with Steinway bass strings (Mapes) and professionally refinished to it’s original glory; a brilliant, satin ebony. It is truly amazing how beautiful this Steinway looks and the sound that comes out of it matches its wonderful luxurious exterior : a full voluminous sound that has captivated audiences for generations.
