I’m Cleopatra, a singing teacher based in El Cerrito, and I believe anyone can learn to sing more accurately and expressively. I’m a trained singer with years of experience performing and recording my own music. I’m also a speech-language pathologist, which gives me a deep understanding of how the voice actually works, how to strengthen it and use it without strain.

I welcome kids, teens, and adults at every level, whether you’re a complete beginner or you already sing and want to grow. My focus is on popular music, from pop and rock to R&B, soul, country, and folk. Lessons take place right in your home. Together we’ll ease any nerves, develop your technique, and spend time on songs that you enjoy.
