Rebecca Trujillo has concertized in North and South America, from the Bay Area to Peru. Her studies with Dr. Michael Campbell and mentorship under Roy Bogas & Caroline Fraser have helped shape her career as a pianist and teacher of the Suzuki Method. She holds a Masters Degree in Piano Pedagogy with a Suzuki Emphasis from Holy Names University & received her first Suzuki teacher training when she was 17. She continues her training through workshops & lessons, seeking ways to improve her teaching and playing each day.

With a dedication to young musicians, Becky creates many performances to raise money for scholarship funds & also organizes the Holy Names University Suzuki Piano Teacher Training Institute. She also believes strongly in sharing the many benefits of celebrating creativity in the community. The Garden Gate Creativity Center in Berkeley was her project (with Diana Rowan) which gave space to many musicians & artists in the Bay Area to perform & teach. It is with great joy that she plays with Wendy Cilman & Carol Braves in the Trio de Jardin exploring the wonderful trio repertoire as well as with many other Bay Area Musicians.

She can most likely be found at the piano practicing, teaching one of her many lovely students or collaborating with her favorite musician– her five year old son, Moses. Joy of all joys!
